At the edge of the village, surrounded by vineyards, you can relax and enjoy traditional Vipava dishes with a modern twist, paired with excellent wines produced from our own vineyards. Tradition and modernity intertwine in both the dishes and the space, where we can host up to 30 guests. During the warmer months, you can enjoy the garden, shaded by grapevines.
Cuisine
We serve authentic Vipava delicacies, complemented by outstanding wine pairings from our vineyards. Fresh local ingredients and Mediterranean spices guarantee a rich variety of flavors, elevated by Marko’s creativity. We cater to guests who prefer simple homemade dishes as well as gourmets seeking originality and new harmonies of taste. Our chef can adjust the menu if needed (allergies, vegetarian, gluten-free, or lactose-free diets).
The entire dinner experience is enhanced by the pleasant atmosphere and attentive service, always accompanied by our staff’s smiles. A children’s menu with simpler dishes is also available for our youngest guests.

We are the first in Slovenia to earn the L.E.A.F. certificate. Our culinary offer is now selected even more carefully with continual development in mind. On Saksida estate we follow the highest environmental standards, traditional values and fresh local products. We realise the importance of a short supply chain, so we collaborate exclusively with the local suppliers and produce some of the ingredients on our estate. We prepare authentic, seasonal meals with distinct local character and we pass on our knowledge, convictions and love of natural resources in Vipava valley to our guests. We follow zero-waste guidelines and use our energy and water responsibly, as we believe that respect for nature is the only way to lead us into our future.
